The Corporation is pleased to release a collection of Stamps and Souvenir Sheet to Commemorate the Hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Port of Spain, November 27-29, 2009.
The Official Launch event took place on November 16th 2009 at the Carlton Savannah, St Anns.
The Corporation is also participating in the CHOGM Village. The CHOGM Village is conceptualised as a retail sale space external to the meeting room and the main area of the CHOGM. This space contains booths – 15’ x 15’, which provides an opportunity for visiting delegates and media, as well as the general public to learn more about Trinidad and Tobago and by extension TTPost, as we showcase and retail core and non-core products and services to the national public, visiting delegates and the media.
The CHOGM Village organisers anticipate having over 3000 regional and international journalists, as well as the other members of the international delegations present during this period.
The Village will be operational up to December 6th 2009, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily. We look forward to you visiting the Booth at the CHOGM Village.
